One of the coolest experiences she had the pleasure of being a part of was the filming of HGTV House Hunters Renovation in Austin, Texas. She loved the design aspect, getting to really know her clients inside and out, and making their new home dreams come true. The filming, chopping and retakes were not so fun…So there goes the dream of being a Hollywood director…NOT!
Cristen says she doesn’t know how she seems to always get the coolest customers. I guess it’s true that you attract what you are! Her customers immediately realize that she has their best interest in mind and will help them create an amazing home. If you ask Cristen to describe herself she says: “I am a designer, flooring specialist, project manager, babysitter, mediator, marriage counselor, house sitter, and sometimes even dog walker.” It all goes hand in hand when helping customers create their perfect space. She gives the same attention to the person who needs tile in their laundry room as she does the complete re-model.
Cristen’s passion and knowledge shines through from the moment you meet her, along with her goofiness and ability to say the “wrong” thing at the right time. Sometimes you just need to break the ice to get down to business.
